Manager, Music Retail Accountant & Consultant
Daniel Jobe is the Manager of our firm’s entire professional staff, and is an accounting, tax and consulting professional that specializes in all things music. In short, Daniel is our firm’s secret weapon. Daniel has over 20 years of accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, financial and store operations, consulting, budgeting, business valuation and AIMsi Accounting Software experience. He works closely with all of our music retail store clients to supervise their year-end accounting engagements, address any accounting/tax issues that arise, and assist them with annual financial reporting income tax planning needs.
Daniel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Missouri State University. Prior to joining FKCo, Daniel was a Music Director and later the Controller and Chief Financial Officer for nearly ten years at Palen Music Center, Inc., a Midwest full-line multi-store music retailing business.
When Daniel joined FKCo in 2007, he brought an undeniable wealth of hands-on music retailing operations, systems and financial experience to our firm. This unique level of expertise has made Daniel an invaluable member of our team, and has allowed him to professionally flourish by gaining an even greater amount of accounting and tax knowledge. Daniel has since become highly experienced in many different aspects of corporate and partnership taxation, inventory management, business valuation, business transition and management consulting, and AIMsi Accounting Software support.
Daniel is also an accomplished and classically trained trombonist. When he’s not in the office, you can find Daniel playing trombone in the church orchestra, or coaching little league with his wife Meredith and sons Jackson & Parker.
