Ione Bendt
Music Retail Accountant
Ione is one of our most talented music retailing accountants and consultants. She works closely with most of our music store clients by playing an integral part in year-end accounting, tax compliance, tax planning and music retail consulting engagements. Ione has several years of in-depth AIMsi Accounting Software experience and knowledge, and is often involved in AIMsi training and improving the accounting, inventory and asset management systems of many of our music store clients.
Ione received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Bellevue University. She began her career writing accounting computer programs for a variety of businesses. Ione has over 30 years of accounting experience, including three years as the Accounting Manager at Ray’s Midbell Music in Sioux City, Iowa.
Ione joined FKCo in 2015 and works in our Connecticut office periodically during the year and predominantly from her Colorado home office where she services our national base of music retail store clients. She, along with Alan & Daniel, is now involved in handling client meetings, speaking engagements and financial education presentations at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Trade Show.
Ione resides in Palmer Lake, CO, and enjoys traveling and outdoor sports, including skiing, hiking and kayaking.
