Bassist Doug Wimbish makes the cover of "Bass Player" Magazine
Bassist extraordinaire Doug Wimbish (also known as the "Stomp Box Guru") is the
featured bassist in the June, 1999 issue of Bass Player magazine.
Doug has been the bass player for Jeff Beck, Mick Jagger, Seal, Carly Simon (just to name a few), is on last
year's Rolling Stones "Bridges to Babylon" album. Most people remember Doug for his infectious grooves as the
bass player for Living Coulour.
Doug is currently on tour with Mos Def, Busta Rhymes and Living Colour, and is doing clinics with drummer and pal Will
Cahoun in between tour dates. Doug has also recently collaborated with guitar manufacturer Ibanez in the production
of a "Doug Wimbish model" bass guitar.
